Welcome, Rummy players! If you love the strategy of Rummy, you’ll enjoy HabitZup. Here’s how you can quickly understand and master the game.
🎯 HabitZup Vs Rummy Objective
Just like Rummy, HabitZup is about making valid sets. But instead of forming sequences, you must create pairs of one positive habit card with its corresponding negative habit card.
🃏 Card Types & Their Role
| Card Type | Rummy Equivalent | HabitZup Function |
|---|---|---|
| Positive & Negative Cards | Numbered Cards | Must be paired together to score |
| Miracle Cards | Joker | Can be paired with any card to complete a set |
| Support Cards | Special Strategy Moves | Helps counter selective negative cards |
| Action Cards | Power Moves (like discarding opponent’s card) | Change game flow (swap, reset, restart, undo, etc.) |
| Reward Cards | N/A | Earned after forming 3 pairs; helps block opponent’s action cards |
🔄 Gameplay Flow (Similar to Rummy)
1️⃣ Draw a Card – Pick a card from the deck at the start of your turn.
2️⃣ Play a Card – Pair a positive with a negative, use an action/miracle card, or counter an opponent’s move.
3️⃣ Make Pairs Strategically – Your goal is to form as many valid habit pairs as possible.
4️⃣ Win Reward Cards – Once you create 3 pairs, you earn a Reward Card, which lets you block opponent’s actions.
5️⃣ End Turn & Discard If Needed – Play continues until a player completes a set goal (e.g., forming the most pairs).
⚡ Strategy Tips for Rummy Players
✔ Think Ahead – Just like Rummy, planning your moves in advance gives you an advantage.
✔ Use Special Cards Wisely – Save Miracle Cards for tough situations.
✔ Disrupt Opponents – Action Cards let you swap, reset, or undo moves. Use them strategically!
✔ Play for the Reward Cards – They provide a strong defense against opponent moves.
🏆 Winning the Game
The player with the most habit pairs & reward cards at the end of the game wins!
Enjoy playing HabitZup, where fun meets habit-building! 🚀
