Gentle Vs Hurtfulness 😔💔
Introduction Being hurtful means using words or actions that cause emotional or physical pain to…
Ignorance means not knowing something. That’s okay — we all start that way! But if we don’t try to learn, we might miss out on growing and understanding the world better. Being curious and open to learning helps us make smart choices and be kinder to others.
In school, Arulmozhi always ignored his homework assignments. He thought, “I don’t need to know this stuff; it’s boring!” One day, the teacher gave a surprise quiz on the material they had studied. Arulmozhi was unprepared and struggled to answer any questions, feeling embarrassed in front of his classmates.
After class, his teacher spoke to him and said,
“Knowledge is important, even if it seems uninteresting. It helps you in ways you might not realize now.”
At home, Kundavai didn’t really listen when her parents talked about saving money. She thought it wasn’t important and didn’t pay much attention.
One day, her dad sat down with her and showed her how a simple budget works. He explained how saving money could help during emergencies or make fun things—like vacations—possible.
Kundavai realized that being ignorant about money had kept her from helping. So, she started learning how to save, plan, and spend wisely.
In the Panchatantra, there’s a story about a lion who believed he was the strongest animal without knowing about the cleverness of the fox. The fox outsmarted the lion, teaching him that strength alone isn’t enough; knowledge and wit are equally important. The moral reminds us that ignorance can lead to downfall.
“Knowledge is the light that dispels ignorance; the wise seek it relentlessly.”
